State University of Management is a leading university in its field in Russia. It is rated among top ten by highest salary level of its alumni and number four among the most claimed Russian institutes of higher education.

The Obninsk branch of State University of Management is its only branch. More than 500 management and finance specialists have graduated from the Obninsk branch of State University of Management in the past 10 years. In 2008 the Obninsk branch has been accredited for another five-year period by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The Obninsk branch has a close partnership with the leading Russian and foreign companies in the region. Our students serve internships in these companies that form a part of their curriculum.

Majors

We offer both full-time and part-time undergraduate study. «Management of organizations» is the major offered for full-time students (with specialization in «Financial management»); part-time students get their degrees in «Management of organization» and «Government and municipal management».

Alumni

Our alumni hold top and middle managerial positions in Russian and international companies, such as The Bank of Moscow, City Bank, Rosgosstrach, NESTLE, TNK-BP, RBK and other.

Faculty

Our lecturers in specialized subjects are Candidates or Doctors of science. Many lecturers also work as business-consultants working with such companies as IKEA, VOLVO, Rosatom, Unified Energy Systems of Russia and other. Our faculty and staff intern at the universities of the EU and the USA.

Research

Obninsk branch of State University of Management in cooperation with FRIDAS conducts a biannual International Youth Conference «Politics and Business in the Changing World». Participation in this conference helps students in establishing contacts with Russian and foreign students, researchers, faculty and business people.
